Acetal blue copolymer is the preferred color for applications in food processing industries due to better visibility of potential part contaminants. Blue Acetal meets all FDA and USDA food contact requirements. Blue Acetal is a cost effective visual detective material. Use Acetal Blue when all you need is the color blue.  

**Blue Acetal POM-C plastics is not metal detectable and x-ray detectable.**

 

Acetal is available in two general types of resins: Copolymer acetal (POM-C), and homopolymer acetal (POM-H); commonly called Delrin®.
