GPO-1 is an economical general purpose NEMA GPO-1 glass laminate that performs well in applications where good electrical properties, good physical strength, and moderate heat resistance are required, but where higher flame is not.

 

Grade GPO-1 is suitable for producing a variety of electrical insulating and components including: panels, barriers, mounting panels, brush holders, spacers, shims, collars, wedges, and blocking used in rotating apparatus, dry type transformer applications, and large switches. Widely used in electric motors and dry-type transformers.

 

Grade GPO-1 laminate can function well in IEEE Class B operating temperatures. The standard color for GPO-1 is cream brown, and is molded in thicknesses of 1/32" through 2".
