Nylon MD Oil-Filled cast nylon PA6 combines both molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) and oil for the load capacity of Nylon MD, plus improved frictional characteristics. Nylon MD Oil-Filled cast nylon excels in higher pressures, and at low speeds-up to 40 feet per minute. It offers 20% lower coefficient of friction, 50% greater limiting pressure velocity, and a lower wear factor than Nylon MD (MoS2), and the lowest "slip-stick" of any nylon product making it ideal for slide pads, thrust washers and trunion bearings. It is dark blue in color.
