TORLON® 4630
B.I.R.S. Machine & Supply is a distributor of bearing grade Torlon® 4630 sheet, rod & tube.
Torlon® 4630 is an wear-resistant grade of polyamide-imide (PAI). 4630 has been
formulated to give outstanding wear resistantance in non-lubricated applications.
Torlon® PAI has the highest strength and stiffness of any thermoplastic up to 275C (525F). It has outstanding resistance to wear, creep and chemicals.
Applications for Torlon® 4630 PAI include seal rings, thrust washers, bobbins, bushings, clutch rollers, pistons, seal rings and sliding vanes.
