FACE SHIELD MATERIALS
B.I.R.S. Machine & Supply Inc. is a distributor of optically clear Mylar® and Polyester (PET) film in rolls and sheets used for the production of medical face shields.
Polyester (PET) clear sheet and rolls are being used currently to manufacture face shields for hospitals and medical workers who are caring for patients that have been infected with the invisible enemy COVID-19 virus.
Mylar® and Polyester (PET) film absorbs almost no moisture and resists swelling in wet environments. It is also known as PET and PETE. Polyester (PET) is strong, transparent clear, dimensionally stable plastic film with outstanding chemical resistance.
Supplies are limited and minimums are required
B.I.R.S. Machine & Supply has access to Mylar® Clear and Polyester (PET) sheet and rolls in thicknesses of .005”, .007” and .010” thick.
Polyester (PET) face shield material is available in custom sheets sizes and rolls and are currently 7 to 10 working days to ship.
We do have PET precut blanks in stock with a tissue layer between sheets. Supplies are limited.
