Virgin UHMW-PE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) is a machine-able thermoplastic that is used widely used across many industries including food and beverage, poultry processing, bottling and canning, conveying, material handling, and packaging. Virgin UHMW is a highly durable, cost-efficient, and versatile material with superior impact and chemical resistance. UHMW Virgin is ideal for applications requiring toughness, extremely low coefficient of friction, high levels of friction and inherent lubricity is needed.

 
Natural virgin UHMW-PE’s high molecular weight makes it extremely resistant to abrasion and moisture absorption. UHMW’s molecular weight ranges from 3.1 million to 100 million grams per mole, with abrasion resistance improving as the molecular weight increases. virgin UHMW is FDA and USDA compliant and very easy to machine—making it an extremely versatile and cost-effective material for endless applications.
