Polycarbonate/ Lexan® / Makrolon® Extruded Applications- Polycarbonate Fabrication

Polycarbonate sheet has many uses and applications due to it excellent combination of characteristics of toughness, transparency, heat and flame resistance and dimensional stability. In the un-notched Izod impact test and falling dart tests, the unreinforced material resists breakage at very low temperatures (-65 F - {-54 C}).

 

Lexan®, Makrolon®, Palram®, Suntuff® etc... are equal/competitive polycarbonate product brands.
