Cast Nylon PA6 is a strong, stiff engineering plastic with outstanding bearing and wear. Nylon is frequently used to replace steel, stainless, brass, bronze, and aluminum bearings and bushings often eliminating the need for external lubrication. Other benefits include a reduction in part weight, decreased operating noise, and minimizing wear on mating parts.

 

Cast Nylon PA6 is generally manufactured into tube or cylinder via a liquid casting process. Casting is often the most cost effective method for producing nylon tubes, large diameter rod, thick sheet and net near shapes.
