Cast Nylon is suitable for so many applications because? Cast Nylon basic properties

compared to other common materials shows why. Cast Nylon has excellent tensile and

compressive strength, good wear properties and is an excellent electrical insulator. Cast

Nylon can also be modified to improve just about any individual property. For example; adding plasticizers improves the impact strength, adding lubricants reduces the coefficient of friction, adding anti-oxidizers improves the operating temperature range, and other additives allow the use of colored nylons in direct food contact applications.
