Torlon® 7130 is a 30% carbon fiber reinforced PAI resin. It has unparalleled performance in several key areas. Included is the highest stiffness and lowest coefficient of thermal expansion among plastics similar to steel. It has exceptional creep resistance and good fatigue resistance. The addition of carbon fiber makes Torlon® 7130 electrically and thermally conductive. Torlon® 7130 wear resistance, heat dissipation and load carrying capability make Torlon® 7130 ideal for tribology applications. Its strength, stiffness and best in class fatigue resistance make it ideal for metal replacement parts, high temperature structural and wear components including landing gear bushings, aerospace parts, wear strips, shrouds, pistons, housings, sliding vanes, precision dowel pin guides and long wear chain bushings among others.
